Managing Portfolio of Clients: The role involves managing a portfolio of clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and objectives. This responsibility requires a strong focus on client satisfaction and the ability to maintain and enhance client relationships.

Conducting Audit Engagements: The candidate will be responsible for conducting assigned audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring all aspects of the audit are completed accurately and efficiently. This includes planning, executing, and concluding audits in line with professional standards and regulations.

Audit Planning and Supervision: This aspect of the role involves the planning, monitoring, and controlling of audit work, along with the supervision of the audit team. Effective leadership and organizational skills are essential for coordinating audit processes and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Client Communication and Consultancy: The role requires proactive communication with clients to understand their needs and specifications, offering additional help and guidance on a consultancy basis. This includes addressing client queries and providing expert advice to support their business objectives.

Coordination with Counterparties: Effective communication and coordination with both internal and external counterparties, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, and government authorities, are crucial. This ensures all audit activities are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and align with best practices.

Operations Coordination: The candidate will coordinate operations, including monitoring operating costs, budgets, and resources. This involves strategic planning and management to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and the achievement of financial objectives.

Additional Audit and Supervisory Duties: In addition to the core responsibilities, the role encompasses performing other audit-related and supervisory duties as assigned. This includes staying updated with auditing standards and regulations, and contributing to the overall success of the audit team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Our ideal candidate will possess a University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field, complemented by professional qualifications such as ACCA or ICAEW, or be in the process of obtaining such certifications.

 

The role demands a minimum of three years of audit experience, with prior exposure to the Big 4 firms seen as a significant advantage. Experience auditing both Cyprus-based and international companies will also be highly regarded. Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is essential for this position.


The candidate must demonstrate advanced computer literacy, with specific experience in Caseware being mandatory. We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational and time management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
